Kristin Khor

Kristin Khor (Bayan Lepas, Malaysia) has two passions in life: science and service. A double major in biochemistry and psychology, Khor spent her junior year studying at Oxford University. And she's still found the time to serve as a Peer Project Leader at a local nursing home and to volunteer on projects both local and global.

Her volunteer work includes not only a community soup kitchen but fundraising for tsunami relief for her home country and other devastated areas. She has served as the vice president of the International Club, a member of the Alpha Chi Omega social sorority, and a resident advisor in Brooks Hall—and has also served as a peer leader in Associate Professor of Psychology Josh Searle-White's freshman seminar on story-telling."I feel like I am a living testimony of the many opportunities and support available at Allegheny," she says.

It's our students who make Allegheny College the unique and special place that it is. Allegheny students have such a variety of interests and passions and skills that after a while unusual combinations don't seem so unusual at all. Will Allegheny fit your interests, skills and talents?
