A biology major and religious studies minor at Allegheny, Chris was involved in activities ranging from the Phi Delta Theta fraternity to the Chemii Club. He credits Allegheny with teaching him how to learn new material and interact well with others. In particular, he says, the Senior Project showed him the importance of persistence and dedication. "Even though my experiments didn't always work out how they should have," he says, "it was important to figure out what wasn't working and fix that problem."
The opportunity to develop a variety of interests in college has served Chris well as he prepares to become a physician. "LECOM expects professionalism, academic excellence, and personality," he says. "All of these things are a product of my attending Allegheny."
It's our students who make Allegheny College the unique and special place that it is. Allegheny students have such a variety of interests and passions and skills that after a while unusual combinations don't seem so unusual at all. Will Allegheny fit your interests, skills and talents?
