Make An Appointment With A Reference Librarian
The Reference Librarians are available to help students with their research. We can suggest search strategies, recommend databases and provide helpful tips for using the Library's extensive print and electronic resources. Every Monday through Thursday at 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., we offer "walk-in" training sessions on how to effectively use the research databases.
Students who are beginning more extensive research for their junior seminars or senior comprehensive projects may schedule an appointment for individualized help. Stop by the Reference Desk or call 332-3769.
Faculty may schedule bibliographic instruction sessions for specific classes. We can create a presentation that emphasizes resources and search strategies relevant to that class. Please contact Don Vrabel, Cynthia Burton, or Jane Westenfeld. The Reference Desk telephone number is 332-3769.
