Request A Book

Option 1:

E-ZBorrow is a cooperative, book lending service that includes academic libraries across Pennsylvania. E-Z Borrow allows Allegheny college students and employees to request books not available at Pelletier Library. It represents the fastest and most efficient choice to obtain books from other academic libraries. An Allegheny College ID is required to use E-Z Borrow.

Option 2:

WorldCat contains the catalog records for most libraries in North America. After locating a book,

1. Choose to view a detailed display of the record
2. Click on “Request an Interlibrary Loan of this item” or on this icon:
3. Fill out the form that is displayed
4. Hit the submit button

Your request will be forwarded to the Interlibrary Loan Office in Pelletier Library for final processing.

You may also use the Interlibrary Loan Request Form.

Once your book arrives---

• You will receive an e-mail announcement
• The book will appear on your library patron record
• Remember the overdue fine is $1.00 per day
