Support Services:
The Computing Services Help Desk provides front-line computer support to all students and employees on campus. Additional support of desktop, educational, and administrative technology is provided by four group Administrative Information Services (AIS), Instructional Technology, User Services, and Technical and Network Services (TNS).

Computing Services
Allegheny students are well-connected to the information super
highway. Recent improvements provide a range of capabilities including enhancing
communication on campus, connections between Allegheny and people and institutions
far from Meadville, and access to numerous research libraries, laboratories
and databases. At Allegheny, you'll find:
- All residence halls are wired for direct Internet access. Details of the residence hall are available on the GatorNetwork page.
- More than 200 public computers in 14 campus locations
- Three electronic Maytum classrooms with student workstations: Murray 117, Carnegie 105, and Quigley 220.
- A growing number of technology enhanced
classrooms throughout the campus
- Information technology employed by faculty to enhance teaching and learning
- New multimedia language learning center in Ruter Hall
