MEADVILLE, Pa. - Nov. 30, 2005 - Recycled Percussion is returning to the Allegheny College campus on December 13 at 7:30 p.m. to premier their brand-new show and film their international music video and DVD titled “Recycled Percussion: Live at Allegheny.” The performance will take place in the Shafer Auditorium. General admission tickets are available for $10.
The troupe, which consists of three drummers and a DJ, is touring with a new stage performance of what they term “junk rock”—a vibrant light show and high-energy rock performance that includes a massive drum kit, buckets, metal drums and even power tools. Recycled Percussion has performed more than 800 shows, including NBA and NFL halftime shows, TV shows, and shows at festivals and numerous colleges and universities.
“After considering a number of locations around the world, it became obvious that Allegheny is the ideal place to record our new DVD,” states Recycled Percussion founder, Justin Spencer. “It was not too long ago that we were at Allegheny and the energy and excitement from the audience was amazing.”
