The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation recently awarded Allegheny College a grant of $300,000 in support of faculty efforts to internationalize the curriculum and to broaden students' understanding of global responses to environmental problems. Funding will help support curriculum development and bringing international lecturers and students to campus, keeping Allegheny's programs in the forefront of Environmental Science programs nationally.
