Liz Earley Named Athlete of the Week Apr 8, 2008
Earley, a three-time All-American, won the hammer throw event at W&J with an NCAA Championship provisional qualifying distance of 52.39m. Her throw just missed the NCAA automatic mark (52.60) and is the best in Division III this season. The Gators will split squads this weekend at the Bucknell Distance Carnival on Friday, April 11 and the Slippery Rock Invite on Saturday, April 12.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Allegheny College senior thrower Liz Earley (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) has been named the North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Washington & Jefferson Invitational this past Saturday.
