Allegheny Falls to Springfield

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Allegheny lacrosse team (0-3) dropped the opening game of their Florida spring trip by a score of 19-6 to Springfield on Sunday night.
Jensen Patterson (Atlanta, Ga./The Lovett School) led the Gators with four goals while Ashley Hughes (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) scored twice. Elissa Gordon (Portland, Maine/Deering) picked up four ground balls while dishing out the Gators' lone assist.
Katie Damico (Lompoc, Calif./Cabrillo) caused two turnovers and Lana Canon won two draw controls.
In goal, Leslie Stange recorded 17 saves.
