Weyers Named Athlete of the Week

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Allegheny College senior Eva Weyers (Delanson, N.Y./Duanesburg) was named the North Coast Athletic Conference athlete of the week in distance/middle distance running for her performance at the Kent State Tune-Up on Saturday.

Weyers, competing in the 3,000-meter run, finished 11th in the field with in a season-best time of 10:46.85.

Weyers and the rest of the Gators travel to Granville, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, February 29 to March 1 for the NCAC Indoor Championships hosted by Denison.
