Gator DMR Takes 21st at Boston

BOSTON – The women’s distance medley relay team of Liz Straus (Kirtland, Ohio/Kirtland), Ogechi Nwokedi (Oil City, Pa./Oil City), Katie Stancik (Russell, Ohio/Chagrin Falls) and Mia Symoniak (Snyder, N.Y./Amherst Central) took 21st place on the second day of the Boston University Valentine Open.

The team ran the relay; which consists of a 400 (Straus), 800 (Ogechi), 1,200 (Stancik) and 1,600 (Symoniak); in a time of 12:52.76, and was the ninth Division III finisher.

The squad returns to action on Friday, March 15 when the team competes at the Kenyon Invite in Gambier, Ohio.
