Ross Named Mideast Coach of the Year
Mar 9, 2007 MEADVILLE, Pa. – Allegheny College head coach Bill Ross continues to add to his already full trophy case, as he was recently named the NCAA Division III Men's Indoor Mideast Region Coach of the Year by United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Ross, who earned the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Coach of the Year honors for the men a week ago, after leading them to their fifth consecutive conference title, has 24 combined NCAC titles since 1996, the most of any cross country or track and field coach in league history.
He has also been named the women’s Mideast Coach of the Year for indoor and outdoor track last season, and was named the outdoor men’s Mideast Coach of the Year in 2004.
