Ross Named Region Coach of Year

NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Allegheny College head men’s and women’s coach Bill Ross was named the Mid-East Region Indoor Track and Field Women’s Coach of the Year at the NCAA Division III Nationals Banquet by the National Track Coaches Association of America.

Ross, in his 10th year at the helm of the Gator cross country and track and field programs, keeps adding to his laundry list of coaching honors, as he was also named the North Coast Athletic Conference men’s and women’s coach of the year in 2006. He has earned 20 NCAC Coach of the Year honors in both cross country and track and field, picking up his sixth Mid-East Region Coach of the Year this winter.

The outdoor season starts on March 25 when the team travels to Clarion for the Clarion Invitational.
