Gators Fall 0-1 to Wittenberg Oct 15, 2005
Coming into the day the Gators had been shut out just two times, but the Tigers, now 12-3 overall and 3-2 in the league, allowed Allegheny to take just three shots. The game’s solitary goal came 25:49 into the contest as Wittenberg’s Jamie McIntyre crossed the ball to Sydney Bates, who fired a one-timer past Gator keeper Beth Van Parys (Erie/Villa Maria Academy). The Blue and Gold compete again on Tuesday, October 18, when they face Oberlin on the road in a 4:30 p.m. start.
