She capped off the night with a goal in the 54th minute assisted by senior forward Jill Gray (Northeast, Pa.).
In between Karpa’s goal, the Gators saw freshman forward Ashley Hughes (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) score her fifth goal of the year and senior defender Vicki Hritz (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Park) score her first of the year. Hughes’ goal was unassisted while Hritz scored off a corner kick by junior midfielder Jen Bilec (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon).
