Gators Fall to Baldwin-Wallace

It took a late first-half goal by Baldwin-Wallace to beat Allegheny in men’s soccer action Wednesday night in Berea, Ohio 1-0.
B-W held the advantage in shots in the first period and scored in the 44th minute when Bryce Sylvester’s left-footed strike found the lower left corner of the goal.
Allegheny registered an 8-1 shot advantage in the second half but could not come up with the equalizer.
Junior keeper Brian Manougian (Rye, N.M/Portsmouth) made four saves for Allegheny as B-W’s Nate Christian made three saves.
Allegheny falls to 2-2-1 on the year and begins conference play on Saturday, September 25 when they travel to Gambier, Ohio to face Kenyon.
