Gators Roll to 4-0 Win Over Frostburg State

Jenn Bilec scored two goals to lead Allegheny to a 4-0 drubbing of Frostburg State in women’s soccer action on Sunday afternoon. The Gators are now 3-1-1 on the season.

Bilec did her scoring off of set pieces on Sunday. She opened the scoring at the 24:49 mark when she took a feed from Lauren Moser off a free kick and buried it. Bilec then bent a corner kick into the far side netting at the 50:00 minute mark to give the Gators a 2-0 lead.

Teresa Lettrich added a goal on an assist from Serena Draper at 76:52 and Katelyn Stroup closed the scoring with just three seconds left in regualation. Emily Spencer was credied with the assist on Stroup’s score.

Beth Van Parys and Joan Anderson combined for seven saves as the Gators outshot host Frostburg 13-8.
