Second Annual Gator Invite
May 9 - MEADVILLE, Pa. - Over 45 teams from all divisions around the area along with some of the top individual competitors from throughout the nation competed at the second annual Gator Invitational hosted by Allegheny College on Friday.

Gators Claim 2008 NCAC Title
May 2 - DELWARE, Ohio - For the eighth time under head coach Bill Ross, the Allegheny women's track and field team captured the North Coast Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship. The Gators tallied a conference-record 268 points while Ross and senior Liz Earley (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) were named Coach of the Year and Field Athlete of the Year, respectively.

Apr 27 - OBERLIN, Ohio - Allegheny College senior Emily Pfeufer (St. Marys, Pa./Elk County Catholic) scored 4,388 points to win the heptathlon at the NCAC Multi-Event Championships, hosted by Oberlin on April 26-27.

Gators Women Split Squads on Saturday
Apr 26 - PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Allegheny women's track and field team sent most of the squad to Carnegie Mellon on Saturday while Emily Pfeufer (St. Marys, Pa./Elk County Catholic) and Liz Straus (Kirtland, Ohio/Kirtland) competed at the NCAC Combined Events Championship at Oberlin.
