A.  Meeting with FAR- sit in on meeting (Professor Yohan Richter-new male rep)

II. Meeting Dates

A.  New end of the year dates – Tuesday, November 16^th and Friday, December 3^rd

IV. Division III Legislation (2004-2005)

·         Look at the philosophy of Division III

A.  12 New Legislative proposals

·         Some apply to Allegheny athletes, some don't

1. Focus on one proposal today

·         Alumni match in/out of season?

·         Larry Lee added importance of our voice.

   a. Baseball/Softball- advocated out of season

·         hectic schedule/bad weather

   b. Men's Soccer- already has alumni game in off-season

·         getting lots of alumni

   c. Lacrosse, Women's Soccer, Volleyball- do not have alumni games

·         agree with an alumni game in off-season

2. Discuss Rule Violation (Larry Lee Answers)

               a. Must Self Report (so bring to attention) to NCAA

·         Include what happened, how to fix it, and possible punishments

3. Discuss Facility Inadequacy (Track)

   a. No Funding to change it- "But we are getting close"- Larry Lee

   b. Discuss Process of getting track and possibilities of new track (lengthy process)

   c. Request for input on turf vs. grass from Larry Lee
