Ryan Place Becomes All-American in the 5k
May 24 - OSHKOSH, Wisc. - Allegheny College senior runner Ryan Place (Meshoppen, Pa./Elk Lake) picked up his first piece of track All-American hardware after placing fourth in the 5,000m run at Division III Nationals on Saturday evening. Place earned All-American honors once before during the 2006 cross country season.

Place Breaks Own School Record in 5k
May 16 - NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Allegheny College senior Ryan Place (Meshoppen, Pa./Elk Lake) broke his own school record in the 5,000m run and landed an NCAA automatic qualifying mark while competing at the North Central College Last Chance Meet on Thursday. Several other members of the Gator squad also competed on Friday.

Second Annual Gator Invite
May 9 - MEADVILLE, Pa. - Over 45 teams from all divisions around the area along with some of the top individual competitors from throughout the nation competed at the second annual Gator Invitational hosted by Allegheny College on Friday.
