Allegheny Football Gives End-of-Year Awards
Feb 19 - MEADVILLE, Pa. – The 2007 Allegheny College football squad had its year-end banquet on Sunday, February 17, where head coach Mark Matlak gave out ten team awards, in addition to the numerous national and conference awards won by players on the 5-5 squad.

Eleven Gridders Honored by League
Nov 21 - CLEVELAND - The Allegheny College Gators placed 11 players on one of the three All-North Coast Athletic Conference teams announced by the league office on Wednesday morning, including three players, center Andy Fleming (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional), inside linebacker Mateo Villa (Windsor, Ohio/Middlefield Cardinal) and defensive back Andy Toner (Bethel Park, Pa./Bethel Park).

Gator Comeback Falls Short in 2007 Finale
Nov 10 - OBERLIN, Ohio – A furious last-second comeback came up short as the Allegheny College Gators dropped their 2007 season finale to the Oberlin College Yeomen by a 27-22 score. The Gators recovered an onside kick with 48 seconds left in the game, and drove to the Oberlin 25 yardline, before the final pass in the end zone was caught; however the Allegheny receiver landed with his foot on the back line, marking the pass incomplete and giving the Yeomen the victory.
