Gator Men Take 7th at Division III Nationals
Nov 17 - NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Picked 11th in the most recent coaches poll, the Allegheny College Gators bettered that mark by four places, and narrowly missed another en route to a seventh place finish at the NCAA Division III National Meet hosted by St. Olaf College. The Gators placed three runners, Ryan Place (Meshoppen, Pa./Elk Lake), Chris Corkins (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) and Zac Ross (Meadville, Pa./Meadville Area) within three seconds of each other, placing 64th, 66th and 69th, respectively.

Gator Women Place 32nd at Nationals
Nov 17 - NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The young Allegheny College Gator cross country squad (four freshmen, and one sophomore, junior and senior) placed 32nd at the NCAA Division III National Meet hosted by St. Olaf College. Leading the way for the squad was Mia Symoniak (East Snyder, N.Y./Amherst Central), who placed 142nd overall.

Men’s Cross Country Takes Second at Regionals
Nov 10 - BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Allegheny College men’s cross country team punched their ticket to the NCAA Division III Championships following a second-place finish at the 2007 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Meet hosted by Lehigh University.

Allegheny Women Place Fifth at Regionals
Nov 10 - BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Allegheny College women’s cross country team earned an at large bid to Division III Nationals after placing fifth at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals. The Gators put three runners; Mia Symoniak (East Snyder, N.Y./Amherst Central), Rachel Hutchinson (Mohnton, Pa./Governor Mifflin) and Eva Weyers (Delanson, N.Y./Duanesburg); on the all-Mideast Region team.

Oct 31 - Despite winning a third straight North Coast Athletic Conference championship this past weekend, the Allegheny men’s cross country team dropped one spot to #12 in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association poll announced on Wednesday.
