<description>NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Picked 11th in the most recent coaches poll, the Allegheny College Gators bettered that mark by four places, and narrowly missed another en route to a seventh place finish at the NCAA Division III National Meet hosted by St. Olaf College. The Gators placed three runners, Ryan Place (Meshoppen, Pa./Elk Lake), Chris Corkins (Horseheads, N.Y./Horseheads) and Zac Ross (Meadville, Pa./Meadville Area) within three seconds of each other, placing 64th, 66th and 69th, respectively.</description>
