Women's soccer drops 1-0 decision to Nazareth

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Allegheny College women's dropped a 1-0 decision to Nazareth as Kelly Finn scored the game-winner at the 51:35 mark.

The Gators outshot Nazareth 12-5 in the first half, and 20-15 overall, but could not convert. Ashley Miller (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) led Allegheny with seven shots, while Katie Murphy (Venetia, Pa./Peters Township) and Abby Silvester (Mentor, Ohio/Lake Catholic) added four and three shots, respectively.

Emily Karr (Wexford, Pa./Pine-Richland) went the distance in between the pipes for the Gators, recording 10 saves on the day.

Allegheny moves to 0-3-1 on the year and travel to Grove City on Wednesday to face the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m.
