Biology Department Senior Project Symposium: 4/21 – 4/23

To celebrate the research accomplishments of the Class of 2008, the Biology Department is pleased to host its Eleventh Annual Senior Project Symposium, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday afternoons, April 21, 22, and 23, in the Steffee Hall of Life Sciences. Graduating seniors will present the results of their senior project research in sessions beginning at 1:10 p.m. each afternoon. All members of the college community are invited and welcome to attend. Juniors, sophomores, and first-year students who have an interest in Biology are especially encouraged to attend and participate. A concluding plenary lecture by Dr. Carl Thummel, University of Utah Department of Human Genetics, entitled “Transcriptional Regulation of Metabolism by Drosophila nuclear receptors,” is scheduled for 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, in Quigley Auditorium.
