The Allegheny College Center for Experiential Learning (ACCEL) gives Allegheny students the opportunity to connect classroom learning to the real world through internships, community service programs, study abroad and experiential learning terms. In addition, ACCEL provides Career Services for our students to enable them to take full advantage of their liberal arts education.
Through our innovative center for student advising and support services, called the Learning Commons, we provide students with instruction on how to develop skills such as time management, study skills, writing, speaking skills, and technology, plus accommodations for students with learning disabilities. The Learning Commons also organizes Allegheny's orientation program for our first-year students.
The Office of Religious Life exists to serve the spiritual and pastoral needs of the campus community. Allegheny believes in educating the whole person: body, mind and spirit. Student religious groups provide opportunities for fellowship and outreach.
The Student Activities Office serves as a gateway to involvement at Allegheny. There are over 100 clubs and organizations on campus to be a part of including academic, performing arts, political and Greek Life.
The Office of Residence Life is committed to learning and growth beyond the classroom. Allegheny’s residential communities have great support networks, creative programs, social activities, and cultural diversity.
