Media Outreach

The Office of Public Affairs wrote and distributed 131 news releases last year. We write about the full panorama of events at Allegheny, as well as disseminating information about broader academic issues and the accomplishments of our students, faculty, alumni, and staff. We also write "hometown releases," news releases that are sent to our students' hometown newspapers on such occasions as getting an award or appearing in a theatre production on campus.

We also connect the media with faculty experts who can speak on a wide range of topics.
