We are happy to share with you some of the special events planned for Family Weekend 2009. Events span many interests and have wide appeal, whether
you're a parent of a first-year student or an old friend of Allegheny. Join us and enjoy the comedy of the Reduced Shakespeare Company, get a campus update from President Mullen, learn more about the services offered at Allegheny, have fun at a campus TailGATOR, participate in a recreational activity with your student at the Wise Center - and much more.
Allegheny College encourages fellowship with family and friends of our students and sets aside a special weekend each year for this purpose. The schedule is designed to allow for plenty of free time to enjoy and share in your student's Allegheny experience, and we organize the schedule to allow you the greatest flexibility in choosing activities that meet your interests. Please continue to check the Allegheny website for current schedules and information. Throughout Family Weekend you can stop by the Campus Center lobby and pick up information regarding events on campus and in the Meadville area. Some faculty may be on campus for Family Weekend; if you are interested in meeting with your student's professors, please contact them to see if they will be available during your visit.
