Students are required to live in College housing during their freshman, sophomore and junior years unless they are released by the Office of Residence Life. Entering resident freshmen are assigned a room in College housing and are sent a residence hall agreement during the summer prior to enrollment. All other students select their rooms in the room draw process. The residence hall agreement is for the entire academic year. Students who can show cause may obtain permission in advance from the Office of Residence Life for a partial-year agreement. Any later changes must be agreed upon in writing by both the student and the Office of Residence Life.
Rising sophomores, juniors and seniors may contract for housing during the room selection process (room draw) held each spring. After a student signs a contract for housing, he or she may be released with no penalty if the request for release is made in person at the Office of Residence Life prior to the next scheduled room draw session.
The College provides local telephone service upon request. The College offers an optional long-distance plan that provides direct dial service at discounted rates.
