Returning to Centerstage for a repeat engagement is the musical powerhouse Rockapella. You may know them from their five seasons on Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego? or from the Folgers Coffee commericals that became instant classics. If you don't know Rockapella, don't miss this chance to hear what the Washington Post raves is "a series of colorfully textured, rhythmically vibrant arrangements that frequently leave you marveling." In unexpected ways, Yarrow borrows from the deep river of American song and creates a gorgeous and totally contemporary sonic landscape. Yarrow's voice has been called "mesmerizing," "intense," "powerful," "a cross between PJ Harvey and Dido ... Nick Cave and Grace Slick."
