Lawrence Lee Pelletier Library
The Lawrence Lee Pelletier Library provides access to resources at Allegheny and beyond. With combined resources of more than 700,000 volumes, the Library offers a number of features:
Pelletier Library also houses the College's Special Collections, which includes the College Archives, the Ida Tarbell Collection and the Original Library that Timothy Alden developed from the bequests of the Rev. William Bentley and the Hon. James Winthrop in 1823. The Library contains an auditorium, three microcomputer classrooms, a 24-hour computer lab, a 48-station music listening system, an audio-visual center, and group study rooms.
The library also offers you an option to borrow your text books and return them afterwards, feel free to ask people working in the Library about E-ZBorrow. A 24-hour computer lab, located in Caflish Residence Hall, is also available. Students can access the computer lab with their InstaGator cards.
