Chatham Program Requirements

• Bio 220, 221, FS Bio 201--12 Credits
• Chem 110, 112 or equivalent sequence--8 Credits
• Chem 231 (organic)--4 Credits
• Bio 310 (microbiology)--4 Credits
• Statistics (Bio 385 or Psych 206)--4 Credits
• General Psychology (Psych 105)--4 Credits
• Developmental Psychology (Psych 160)--4 Credits
• Physiology (Bio 380)*--4 Credits
• Genetics (Bio 325)*--4 Credits
• Anatomy (Bio 365)--4 Credits

* Strongly recommended, but substitutions are possible if scheduling becomes a serious problem. See Ms. Peterson if this is the case.

• A "C" or higher in each pre-requisite course
• A record of good citizenship
• Volunteer hours in both health and non-health areas
• Shadowing of at least one Physician Assistant
• Hands-on work or volunteer experience is strongly encouraged

Up to 3 seats are guaranteed for Allegheny College students who meet the requirements above and the overall GPA is 3.5 or higher.

Allegheny students will be guaranteed an interview at Chatham if the above requirements are met and the overall GPA is 3.0 or higher.
