The Lew Davies Award for Outstanding Community Service is awarded annually to Allegheny College students who have made a significant contribution to the Meadville area community and who have gone above and beyond their volunteer or internship commitment, while also positively impacting other Allegheny students through their commitment. This award is not limited to Davies Community Service Leaders.
Each year, members of the Davies family honor these students with an award certificate and a check.
