For Students

Have you ever done community service? How about service-learning? Do you like classes that offer alternatives to lectures?

If your answer is yes, consider service-learning at Allegheny College. Service-learning is not only a great way to learn, but also a way to connect to the Meadville community. Student leadership is the momentum behind our service-learning movement.

The Service-Learning Challenge is just one example of the ways in which students and faculty work side-by-side to implement service in the classroom.

Allegheny offers several opportunities for students to get involved in service-learning and social change on campus, as well as in many national organizations. Listed below are a few of them.
