Opportunities
- Allegheny students participate annually in the Western Pennsylvania
Undergraduate Psychology Research Conference, where they share their research
with others in a professional conference-like setting.
- Internships allow students to apply classroom knowledge in "real
world" settings, providing on-the-job experience and academic credit
(see Courses for list of placements).
- Psi Chi is the national honor society in psychology, of which Allegheny
boasts a chapter. The chapter sponsors lectures, films and service opportunities,
and collects information on careers and graduate schools.
